St Davids Day

Happy St Davids Day for all those who are Welsh or just love Wales as I do. Many of our happiest times when the children were young was taking them to Wales on holiday, whether it be Llangollen, Eyton, Erbistock...oh how they loved that quiet little place and paddling in the quiet waters of the river Dee on a warm day. Then back to our camp site at The Plassey near to Eyton, what fun we had, many happy memories made.
Or on up to the North Wales coast to Rhyl, Jenny playing on the beach with Martin and making sandcastles. Then onto Conway and the wonderful castle and harbour.
So Happy St Davids Day today with a bunch of their National Emblem the Daffodill.

There is a lovely Daffodill crochet pattern on the Attic 24 Blog, so those of you with a love of crafting should pop on over to Lucys wonderful Attic 24 Blog
