The weather forecast did not give rain hurray, but we set out and it drizzled on and off, did it spoil our fun, not a bit of it.
We visited The Church Inn in Ludlow our favourite pub to get some lunch which was delicious, mine was the local Shropshire pie called Fidget pie, I had to be helped to eat it by my hisband as the meal was fantastic but OOH SO ENORMOUS.

A FATHERS DAY DRINK
Fathers day and texts and cards from children and grandchildren and a drink to celebrate. We then set out to see The secret gardens of Ludlow, open for the ngs weekend, they were something else, behind the Georgian facades were Gardens of imagination and Style.
After visiting the gardens, not too many photos respecting their security and privacy here, we walked down to the river teme.

After walking around the gardens we walked around the castle, down to the river teme, and back in a circular route to the market square, there wasnt enough time to do everything, but it was so enjoyable. A great place to visit at any time.
